Hearts broke everywhere when news broke that biker Jesse James cheated (with multiple women!) on America’s sweetheart Sandra Bullock just after her 2010 Oscar win for Blindside.
The highly-public cheating scandal still leaves us with a bad taste… even five years later!

Well, it seems the Monster Garage host can’t escape the past. In a new interview airing this weekend for In Depth With Graham Bensinger, the 46-year-old took responsibility for his actions:
“The relationship part I was able to put [aside], I had to stand up in front of the media and take full account for what I did. And I took it all. I took 100 percent of it right on the chin. Nobody does that. Everybody denies it.”
*Everybody* doesn’t cheat on their wives, but we digress…
The worst part for James?
Losing his potential-adoptive son. James shared:
“The painful part was about Louis, who we adopted. As bad as stuff was between us, we adopted a kid and things got kind of good for a little while and we had that kid to focus on, and, boom, it was over in 24 hours ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ gone, done.”
The former couple had secretly been in the process of adopting the now five-year-old, but Miz Bullock finalized the adoption solo after the split.
Instead of blaming his infidelity, James said it’s the Gravity star’s status in Hollywood that kept him out of Louis’ life:
“I got divorced and lost a kid I adopted because of it. Whether that’s fair, whether I should have lost a kid due to infidelity, which I don’t think anybody ever does. But I think with ‘Hollywood Law’ that’s totally fair.”
Hmmm…
It’s just an unfortunate situation all around!
James has since remarried to drag racer Alexis DeJoria, who he says supports his lifestyle:
“She’s just like a real woman. I don’t want to say anything to jinx it, but it’s pretty good. She’s the first person I’ve ever been with that just lets me work and thinks it’s awesome.”
This is his fourth marriage (excluding his engagement to tattoo artist Kat Von D), so yeah — better knock on wood!
Sandra seems to be completely moved on, though — and that makes us happy! We’re interested to see what happens with her and new beau Bryan Randall in the future!
