Ever get Jessica Chastain and Bryce Dallas Howard confused?
Sure, they’re both great actresses who have their own totally distinct, flourishing careers in Hollywood — but MAN they look alike.
Well, you know what? You don’t need to worry that you’re ginger-blind or anything. When it comes to these two stars, everyone gets them confused!

In a recent interview on the X-Men Dark Phoenix press tour, Jessica was asked about the similarity, and she revealed even SHE got the two confused.
Wait, whut??
She explained:
“Before my career took off, I remember one time being on the subway and I was looking at a magazine and there was a picture of her, like a small picture, and I was like ‘What am I doing in this magazine?’ I actually had that thought.”
Ha!
And she wasn’t alone. Bryce’s own dad, director Ron Howard, once mistook the actress for his own daughter! She claimed:
“Another time I was at the Apple store and Ron Howard was there. And I was walking by and I was like, ‘That’s Ron Howard’ and then my friend was with me [and] he said he turned to someone and said ‘I think I just saw Bryce.’ We look so much alike.”
Wow!
Ron Howard has three daughters, and they’re ALL redheads. So he’s even used to telling Bryce apart from people! LOLz!
The two stars have actually met — they were both in 2011’s big screen adaptation of The Help.
So how did they react to seeing this legendary lookalikeness in person? She recalled:
“When we finally got to film The Help, the first time we met, we went to the table read and looked at each other, because we both get it all the time, and we grabbed each other’s hands and we said, ‘Let’s go to the mirror.’ And we went to the mirror and we looked at each other… and we were like, ‘Yeah, we look exactly alike.'”
And then they switched places and tricked their parents into falling in love again. LOLz!
Finally, Jessica wanted to make it perfectly clear she’s not annoyed by the comparison — mostly just flattered!
“Listen, she’s like tall, and her nose is more defined. There are little things about us that are different, but we definitely look like kin… I see it as a compliment. I think she’s fabulous.”
