J.K. Rowling Says There's Only One Harry Potter Character She Regrets Killing! Find Out Which One HERE!

Regrets.
J.K. Rowling has had a few.
The Harry Potter author infamously revealed she wished she had not written Hermione and Ron getting together at the end of the series.

And now she has another regret about The Deathly Hallows. And this time, emphasis on the deathly part.
J.K. broke hearts of countless readers with the many character deaths in the final book, but she says there’s only one she really regrets [SPOILER ALERT, obvi]:
Florean Fortescue.
Yep. Not Fred Weasley or Tonks or Lupin or Snape or Dobby. Florean the ice cream shop owner. In a new essay on the Pottermore website, she wrote:

“I seemed to have him kidnapped and killed for no good reason. He is not the first wizard whom Voldemort murdered because he knew too much (or too little), but he is the only one I feel guilty about, because it was all my fault…
I originally planned Florean to be the conduit for clues that I needed to give Harry during his quest for the Hallows, which is why I established an acquaintance fairly early on. The problem was that when I came to write the key parts of Deathly Hallows, I decided that Phineas Nigellus Black was a much more satisfactory means of conveying clues. Florean’s information on the diadem also felt redundant, as I could give the reader everything he or she needed by interviewing the Grey Lady.”

Well, we can’t argue with her logic as to why the killing was unnecessary, but we think it worked.
After all, unnecessary killing is totes part of Voldemort’s M.O.
And many fans would says J.K.’s too for that matter! LOLz!
