Julie Taymor Slings A Spidey Lawsuit!

Poor Julie Taymor!
It must be pretty rough being thrown around in conversations of Broadway Spiderman‘s many hurdles.
Not only that but she claims she’s been missing out on all the sweet gold she deserves for doing her part (albeit a controversial one). And now she’s ready to sling it back in the producers’ faces.
The Stage Director and Choreographers’ Society (SDC) have already filed a claim against the producers for failing to pay Julie her proper royalties earlier this year.
And now Julie is filing some paperwork of her own — a big, fat lawsuit!
Her lawyer states:

As the lawsuit filed today makes clear, the defendants have violated Ms. Taymor’s creative rights as an author of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. Moreover, the producers have failed to compensate Ms. Taymor for their continued use of her work to date.

Interesting. We wanna know what the producers have to say about all of this! What’s their side?
