Nun In Never-Ending Convent Lawsuit Against Katy Perry Drops Dead In Court At A Hearing For The Case

Remember that lawsuit pitting Katy Perry against a group of nuns and a restaurant owner over an eight-acre convent property in El Lay?
It feels like we’ve been reporting on this never-ending lawsuit for years. (Oh wait! We HAVE been reporting on this lawsuit for years.)
Well, here’s a shocking — and sad — turn to the story.

On Friday afternoon, one of the nuns — Sister Catherine Rose Holzman — was in court for a post-judgment hearing on the case when she died.
Like, per TMZ, the woman literally died while in court about the convent property. So, so bizarre — and very sad.
Apparently, shortly before her death, Holzman had spoken out once more against Perry — who eventually won the lawsuit against the Archdiocese of Los Angeles over the property — by saying to the media:

“We asked [Hollister, the restaurant owner] to save us, to buy the property. She had nothing to do with forcing herself on us. And to Katy Perry, please stop. It’s not doing anyone any good except hurting a lot of people.”
