Kevin Hart gets it now.
The Night School star got candid about his cheating scandal in a new interview with People, admitting that while it certainly tested his marriage, he and wife Eniko Parrish are now stronger than ever.

He explained:
“Our marriage has been put to the test. It’s the most difficult test ever. And, you know, sometimes those tests come from stupidity. But it’s how you handle it, and how you decide to move forward from it.”
That “stupidity,” as you probably remember, involved a close friend allegedly trying to extort the comedian over a video of him cheating.
After the scandal broke last year, Hart took to social media to offer his then-pregnant wife an apology for his “bad error in judgment.” The two welcomed their first child together months later.

Now, Hart will be the first to tell you he’s since learned his lesson. The 39-year-old said that getting busted for cheating helped him realize how much his marriage means to him, revealing:
“The tests we’ve passed made us love each other even more. It made us understand our bond even more… The friendship that I have with my wife is insane. Yes, that’s my wife, we’re lovers, it’s a relationship, it’s marriage… but the friendship we have is like no other.”
And when he says “friendship,” he means it:
“When you get to a point to where you’re that open, and you’re that understanding, and knowing of one another, the word ‘friendship’ is a real word, you know, that word ‘best friend’ is a real word.”
Ultimately, Hart’s best friend chose to forgive him for his indiscretions. He reflected:
“I applaud my wife for just displaying a high level of strength that I can’t even explain. I applaud her for being my backbone, my support system, and more importantly, taking my life to the next level.”
Sounds like those night classes with Tiffany Haddish really did teach him a thing or two.
