Karma At Its Finest! Kim Burrell's Radio Show Gets Canceled After Her Homophobic Rant Goes Viral!

We’re glad to see action is being taken!
On Thursday, Texas Southern University announced it had axed Kim Burrell‘s radio show Bridging the Gap With Kim Burrell after her homophobic rant went viral this past week. The news also comes on the heels of Ellen DeGeneres‘ canceling the gospel singer’s scheduled appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

In an official statement to Us Weekly, the station revealed:

“The Kim Burrell show is no longer airing as part of KTSU Radio programming.”

Short and sweet!
As we previously reported, Ellen and KTSU aren’t the only ones who want to see Burrell’s star extinguished — even Frank Ocean‘s momma wants to see her face consequences!
