Kim Kardashian Is 'Not Happy' Kanye West Is Still Running For President

Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are currently on a family retreat to focus on saving their marriage — but that might be hard to do when he’s also running a presidential campaign.

It’s been a rocky road for Kim and ‘Ye recently, to say the very least. Their marital troubles became uncomfortably public in recent weeks, but sources suggested the former power couple has actually been distant for months now — and divorce has even been discussed!

That being said, their current spate of issues can largely be traced back to one thing: Kanye’s presidential campaign. After all, it was a campaign event where he first made troubling comments about the decision not to abort their daughter North. And the campaign is still going on, despite their private vacation to the Dominican Republic, something we’ve heard is a “make or break” trip for the couple.

A source for People said:

“Kanye has made it clear that he will continue to run for president. Kim is not happy about it, but this isn’t her focus. She just wants to do what’s best for the kids. And she thinks finding a way to save her marriage is what’s best for them.”

Umm, maybe ending that presidential campaign should be a bit more of a focus for Kim? After all, another People insider previously said that KKW was “upset that Kanye isn’t around for the kids,” which we assume he wouldn’t be able to do if he was running around the country campaigning.

It would certainly be a strong gesture from Yeezy.

Plus, after a bombshell reports outed some Republican Party operatives assisting the 43-year-old’s campaign — presumably in order to sabotage Joe Biden’s chances in favor of Donald Trump — isn’t it just time to give it up??

And while we’re glad the pair of them are trying to work things out, doesn’t it say a LOT about Kanye as a politician that he’s away on vacation in the middle of his presidential campaign??? If he really wanted to lead the country, he should be out there sharing his platform, not frivolously throwing money around to get on the ballot in states he’s never visited.

That being said, we don’t want to blame a wife for her husband’s bad behavior — we aren’t Fox News talking about Hillary Clinton! LOLz!

The People source reiterated something important we’ve been hearing about Kim — that the reality star is “exhausted.” They added:

“Between the kids, work, and dealing with Kanye’s bipolar episodes, it’s been hard for her to think clearly.”

There’s no question Kim’s been put through the ringer lately, so we can definitely sympathize with that. We hope the West family can work out a healthy solution… and we really hope dropping this vanity campaign is part of that.
