UPDATE 2:49 PM EST: Hospital witnesses are saying that an MRI shows that Lamar has suffered multiple strokes during his time at the Las Vegas facility.
While insiders are unsure if the sports star has any brain damage, they explain that he’s on 3-5 hour dialysis to combat kidney failure.

These might be the most heartbreaking new details of all.
Coming off the heels of an alleged phone call that seemed to upset Lamar Odom just days before being found unconscious, it’s being reported that witnesses at Vegas’ Sunrise Hospital say that doctors believe he had both cocaine and opiates in his system.

The same sources also shared that the former NBA star’s loved ones were told by doctors that he’s suffering from fluid in lungs due to crack cocaine use. AND they added that supposedly there were also track marks on one of his arms.
Our hearts are just breaking.
A different source revealed that while the 35-year-old is still unconscious, doctors have been treating his situation in that of an “overdose.”
But there’s more to it. The insider continues to say he’s suffered from a “loss of oxygen but also possible stroke. So likely there’s brain damage, but they’re not sure how much. Virtually every drug imaginable was found in his system.”
This is such terrible news.

Resulting from the apparent drug use, L.O. seemed to have had a ischemic stroke, which is usually associated with a OD.
The same source also alleges that “he had been partying since Friday,” and “was doing crack cocaine all weekend and he choked on his mucous. They’re now having to fix all the damage it has done.”
As you can guess, “the long term effects of his drug use have taken a toll on his body and the binge this time was too much to handle,” says the insider, though they don’t believe it was a suicide attempt.
If that’s the case, it would definitely shed more light why he was found unconscious in his room at the legal Nevada brothel, despite the owner of the Love Ranch saying previously:
“The police looked through his things and they didn’t tell us they found anything. The girls that were hanging out with him didn’t see any use of any illegal drugs at all.
Regardless of what ended up going down, right now, we’re just hoping Lamar pulls through.
