Lamar Odom
‘s NBA peers continue to show love.
Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers hosted his annual Celebrity Server benefit on Sunday night in Beverly Hills, where former teammates Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, and coach Doc Rivers all came out to raise money for various charities.
With former Clippers star L.O.’s recovery in the back of their minds, the basketballers proved that the NBA family is a tight-knit bunch.

These are just a few of the visitors that rushed to Khlo├â┬⌐ Kardashian‘s husband’s bedside when news of his overdose broke earlier this month.
The host for the evening and Jada Crawley‘s other half said:

“Lamar’s my friend. He’s a part of our NBA family, and we’re all going to be there for him through thick and thin.”

Jordan, 27, added:

“He’s doing a lot better now, so I’m happy about that. It’s tough seeing an ex-teammate like that, but I like to focus on the positive.”

That’s a good attitude to have!
Even though Lam’s recovery will be a difficult one, it’s nice to know he has tons of support.
Griffin said it wasn’t easy, but he wouldn’t have missed being there:

“It was tough, but he’s obviously doing much better. I’m glad I got to be there. I want him to know we’re here for him.”

The whole organization stepped in, and coach Rivers continues to stay updated on Odom’s case:

“This now has nothing to do with basketball. It has to do with his life. It shows you what type of guy he is with the love and support. Everybody doesn’t get that. Now, we’re hoping that he comes out of this and that same love and support he had while he was going through this translates. That’s my prayer.”

We agree!
Hopefully the scare will be a wake up call for the troubled athlete.
