Florida Man Arrested For Stalking And Attempting To Kidnap Lana Del Rey -- Was Carrying A Weapon And Deemed A 'Credible Threat' By Police

This is horrifying.
A 43-year-old Florida man named Michael Hunt is now in police custody today, arrested in Orlando, Florida last night outside of Lana Del Rey‘s tour stop there after police received a tip about his behavior.
According to cops, Hunt had allegedly been planning to kidnap Lana Del Rey after her concert at Orlando’s Amway Center; he had tickets to her show, and was found armed with a weapon when he was arrested.

Cops say that the man’s threat was more than idle or made in passing; in fact, enough planning went into his plot that Hunt is now being charged with stalking with a credible threat, and aggravated kidnapping with a weapon.
The police apparently jumped on a tip that Hunt had a ticket and a knife after others reported that the 43-year-old had been posting “cryptic and threatening” messages on social media, according to news reports.
He was located just a block from the arena before the show was set to kick off.
Hunt isn’t just some crazy person stalking a celeb, either — not only was the threat deemed a credible one, but he has already served five prison sentences in his life with, according to TMZ, a “long, long rap sheet” in tow, as well.

Scary, scary stuff.
Lana performed without incident Friday night as scheduled, though. Thankfully.
