Uh oh!
Love & Hip Hop star Stevie J is in a lot of trouble!
The reality actor apparently owes a shizz ton of money to the mother of two of his children — an amount we can barely comprehend!!!
The New York City Office of Child Support Enforcement released a July 2013 statement that claims Stevie J owes a grand total of $1,158,391!!! And the worst part is that over 14 years – he’s only paid $132,220.30!!!
Ouchie!
This isn’t the first time that Stevie J has had trouble with this dilemma.
In 2010 an arrest warrant for lack of child support payments was handed out to the NYPD that read:
“YOU ARE THEREFORE COMMANDED forthwith to arrest Steven A Jordan, and bring said person before this Court to be dealt with according to law.”
Although for some reason – that arrest warrant was stopped even though no payment was received.
The baby mama Carol Bennett is taking these lack of payments by Stevie J very seriously and said:
├óΓé¼┼ôUnder the 1992 Child Support Recovery Act, it is a crime to leave a state owing more than $10,000 in unpaid child support arrears for more than 2 years. Mr. Jordan owed more than 20 times that when he left New York to live in the state of Georgia.”
Sounds like Stevie J better have a talk with the mother of his children.
Because this problem is NOT likely to go away!
Or at least it doesn’t seem that way!!
