Man Rescues Over 1,100 Greyhounds In 13 Years

Man rescues 1,100 greyhounds over 13 years!!

Whoa! That’s a lotta doggies!!

Jonathan Kitto, 58, decided back in 1999 that his commercial cleaning company was just not fulfilling enough for him so he said that:

“I came home one day and said, ‘I need a dog.'”

So the next day, he and his partner, Alonso Saldivar, went to a pet supply store, that just happened to be having a greyhound meet and greet.

Jonathan said:

“Alonso was a little scared of dogs. But a few minutes later I looked over and a big greyhound was sitting in his lap.”

Ha! The power of the greyhound cuteness was too much for him! His fear was erased!

After adding several more greyhounds to their family, they formed Gbark, a rescue organization that has saved over 1,100 greyhounds over the past 13 years!!

That’s incredidble!

Gbark has become a home to dogs on death row, and even unadoptable pups can find solace there.

Jonathan said:

“It’s a huge selfish pursuit. I’m sure some people don’t quite get that but these dogs, starting with the first ones, were life changing.”

Aww! Sounds like he truly found his life calling.

So AH-mazing!!
