Martha Stewart & Emeril Lagasse SUED For Selling Crappy Knives

The Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Wuppertal, Solingen and Remscheid, Germany is not happy with Martha Stewart and Emeril Lagasse.
According to a trademark infringement lawsuit, the celebrity chef is hawking off knives on the Home Shopping Network which prominently feature his name on the blades along with “Solingen, Germany,” which suggests the product was made in the city known for high-quality cutlery.
Unfortunately, the knives aren’t living up to the good German name attached to them and are “breaking in half.” It certainly doesn’t help that they are actually made in China either.
Martha, who has already served time for breaking the law, is involved in the suit because she owns Lagasse’s product line and HSN is being held responsible too.
Sources say the plaintiffs are demanding $2 million for EACH time the trademark was mentioned on the 24-hour shopping network, so yeah, this could get pricey.
