Anyone who buys and eats this burger instead of spending the money to help someone out in need is kind of a jerk! The implications of being able to grow meat in a lab are HUGE — especially with all the animal lives we could save — but this is a lot of money that could do a LOT of good!
Seriously! A restaurant in London is about to cook the most expensive burger in history, because it’ll use meat grown in a lab instead of grown on a living cow! We’re talking just 5 ounces of science-ass beef!
So if we’re so confident that the person who buys it will be a jerk for spending that much on a lab-grown burger, how much will it cost??

That’s NOT a typo, and yes, that’s enough money to cover a whole lot of struggling family debt or to pay off a house somewhere! Instead, it will be used on a tiny burger that will probably taste super weird and end up using the eater as a host to do its bidding!

The patty will be made using 3,000 pieces of artificial beef, each the size of a grain of rice, made from stem cells taken from a slaughtered cow. Which is mind-blowing, because they already have a slaughtered cow they could eat — and hopefully they are, and they AREN’T wasting what they don’t use for stem cells!
The idea is to eventually get costs down to help feed the world’s growing demand, which is noble for animals and hungry humans, but this stunt is a bit ridiculous!
There’s no word on WHERE this will be grilled up, or who in their right jerky mind would buy it, but we think it’s a huge waste of money that could do some real good in the world!
It would be hilarious if they accidentally cooked it too long! HA!
