Did Meghan Markle have a royal hardware upgrade? Internet conspiracy theorists seemed to think so after the Duchess and Prince Harry made a creepily robotic appearance on Britain’s Got Talent last week.
The mayhem started when a clip of the finale taping showed the royal couple in the audience with motionless smiling faces. To be fair, it looked creepy af.
But, of course, conspiracy theorists dove into the deep end and began posting videos suggesting that the Suits actress had been replaced by an actual robot. Because, you know… lizard people!
Turns out, the creepy appearance was actually two people donning masks of the royal couple as a stunt for Madame Tussauds new Live Figures exhibit. Oh…
This case may be debunked, but we can’t say the same for some these other wild conspiracy theories…
