Mel Gibson‘s father, Hutton Gibson, has filed for divorce from his wife. The 93-year-old man believes he has been abused by his wife.
The extremely old man has an assortment of illnesses and pops medications like it’s candy. A source believes that his wife Teddy Joye feels her husband’s family is extending his suffering, and she would like to stop his medication in order to allow him to pass away peacefully.
She is convinced this is what her husband wants, but Mel Gibson disagrees.
The controversial star has gone ahead and put it upon himself to make sure his beloved dad gets his meds. He firmly believes she’s guilty of elder abuse, and wants her out of his dad’s house as soon as possible.
If this is true, we can obviously understand the actor’s frustrations, but forgive us if we’re hesitant to trust Mel’s word.
However, it was the father who filed for divorce and even signed his John Hanckock for the divorce docs albeit in some shaky handwriting.
We guess we’ll have to wait and see what the judge decides as this case will be going to court.
