National Zoo's Tiger Cubs Have A Swim Test

Ahhhh! Baby tiger cubs are so stankin’ cute!!
We’re so glad the government shutdown is over!
Because now we can watch cute baby tigers play around!
The Zoo’s two Sumatran tiger cubs took a brisk swim the other day for their own safety.
It was part of a swim reliability test and it’s super important!
Zoo keepers have to know that if one of the cubs falls into the pool, they can safely keep their head above the water and they can swim to shore on their own.
Do both cubs pass the test? Do they both drown, forcing the zoo to start over with new cubs??
