Like mother, like son!
Ryan Dorsey is opening up about his 7-year-old son, Josey, whom he shares with the late Naya Rivera. And he’s teasing some of the little guy’s BIG plans! The 39-year-old teased to E! News on Monday what his young son has in the works:
“He wants to do his own YouTube channel. He wants to re-create these Batman scenes. He wants me to be The Joker and he wants to be Batman.”
Man, we hope Ryan is ready to get his butt kicked! LOLz!

That is so CUTE! We can just picture the two of them running around the house, battling it out as a father-son interpretation of the famous foes. He added:
“The other day he said to me in the bathroom — I bought him a new Batman cowl and utility belt — and he was like, ‘Dad, thanks for getting that for me. I’m really ready to take this Batman stuff to the next level.’”
Sign us up for that YouTube subscription! And by the looks of it, he’s been fan of the Caped Crusader for a while, as Naya, who dressed up as Batgirl alongside Josey’s Batman back in 2019, called them “the perfect duo.” See (below):
Awww! While the little one may be too young to actually don the cape and cowl on the big screen, the Big Sky actor revealed Josey is already turning into quite the little teammate when it comes to helping his dad prepare for roles! He gushed:
“He’s able to read scripts. I actually had a scene for an audition one time where he read the other lines because I was supposed to be reading it with a kid. I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time where he can help me with my auditions because we live together.”
So sweet! Son… bestie… scene partner… We can’t imagine it took too much to persuade the little guy into helping out, as both Ryan and the late Glee actress carved out their own spots in Hollywood. And it seems Josey is already well on way to show business! In addition to the proposed YouTube productions, he’s already tried his hand at live comedy! Ryan explained:
“He actually did his first talent show at school a couple of months ago. It was him and his little friend and they did a little comedy act. He got quite a laugh from the audience and he just hammed it up.”
What a little natural!

However, the Yellowstone actor just wants to make sure that above all, Josey gets to live life as a kid for as long as he can:
“I want him to be a kid and have as normal of a life as he can considering everything he has gone through and will continue to go through for the rest of his life.”
Glad to hear his head is in the right place! Still, though, he has high hopes for his son’s acting future:
“I can’t help but think he’ll be a natural.”
Cute! There’s no doubt Naya would be proud.
