Neill starred in 1948’s Superman with Kirk Alyn and later opposite George Reeves‘ Clark Kent in Adventures Of Superman from 1953-1958.
The actress’ death was confirmed on Facebook by her official biographer Larry Ward via her editor Jim Nolt as they shared a very touching tribute, saying:

As Larry and Jim pointed out, Noel’s big break came in 1948 when she took on the role of Lane and “caught the interest of fans everywhere.”
Miz Neill married a few times, in 1943, 1953, and again in 1963, but they all ended in annulments or divorces and she leaves nor survivors behind.
She will be sorely missed as our hearts go out to all those affected by her passing.
