Lori Loughlin's Daughters Kicked Out Of USC Sorority Amid Bribery Scandal, But Their Bond Has 'Strengthened'

UPDATE 8/2/19 7:27 A.M. PST: Turns out Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose Giannulli don’t have to worry about their future with their sorority at USC.

A Kappa Kappa Gamma rep spoke out to People on Thursday, clearing up the air surrounding the sisters’ involvement in their organization:

“The story regarding these two individuals is false. Bella Giannulli remains an active member of the Delta Tau chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma.”

And as for the 19-year-old YouTuber? Olivia “did not complete the membership process,” and so, she’s not a Kappa.

Lori Loughlin’s daughters have one less reason to rush back to college.

According to Us Weekly, Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose Giannulli were kicked out of their sorority at the University of Southern California amid fallout from the family’s alleged participation in the nationwide college bribery scheme.

A source revealed to the outlet:

“Olivia and Bella were both in Kappa Kappa Gamma and the sorority has since kicked them out and is trying to distance themselves from the situation as much as possible.”

Ouch.

While the Kappas may not abide by the age old “sisters for life” policy, the insider insisted the Giannulli sisters have never been closer as their lives continue to fall apart from the scandal.

Adding Liv and Bella are sticking together amid the drama and taking it “day by day,” the source noted:

“This has strengthened their bond more than anything possibly could.”

Well, that’s good… we guess?

As we’ve been reporting, the past year has been particularly hard for Olivia, as the 19-year-old Instagram influencer lost many endorsement deals as a result of the scandal.

However, the source stressed things have been “more emotionally devastating” for 20-year-old Bella, explaining:

“Olivia’s world came crashing down quicker in terms of getting dumped and losing all of her business, but this all unfolded slower for Bella and it’s been more emotionally devastating.”

Okay, girls… let’s not turn this into a competition. You’re both the media’s favorite and your futures are equally compromised thanks to your parents’ alleged misdeeds.

In case you forgot, Lori and husband Mossimo Giannulli stand accused of paying $500,000 to get their daughters admitted to USC as crew team recruits — despite the fact neither ever participated in the sport. The couple later pled not guilty to charges of money laundering and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, and are said to be claiming ignorance in their upcoming trial.

While Olivia was initially said to be “furious with her parents” for ruining her career, the family situation has since reportedly “improved” in the months since OJ moved out of her parents’ Bel Air Home to focus on rebuilding her social media empire.

But remember, y’all: Bella is going through it just as bad — if not worse, apparently.
