A paraplegic man and his fianc├â┬⌐e just made the best pregnancy announcement we’ve seen in quite a while.
The now-viral picture shows Todd Krieg giving a thumbs-up while sitting in his wheelchair as Amanda Diesen bashfully holds up her sonogram behind him.

And to answer any burning question that may be on some people’s minds, the photo came complete with a hilarious message written behind the couple that says:
“It still works!”
Ha! Good to know!
The former motocross racer told the Today show the announcement was “slightly immature,” but believes the lighthearted message brings hope to those looking for love. He explained:
“We are two of the goofiest people together. (The announcement) is slightly immature and inappropriate, but everyone secretly loves that stuff. I feel our story is very unique and inspiring, and my hope is that it brings hope to anyone else looking for love ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ that it literally can happen in the most unexpected place with the most unexpected person ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ so be open to change.”
The couple planned the photoshoot to announce their unexpected pregnancy to friends and family, and decided to have some fun with it after being inspired by baby announcements on Pinterest.

But the funny January 22 photoshoot turned serious when Krieg proposed to his baby momma. Diesen later posted their story on a bridal website in hopes of winning a contest for a free wedding.
Diesen explained that humor has been a key part of coping with the seriousness of Krieg’s condition, adding:
“Of course there are moments of sadness and we can’t joke about it all the time ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ he truly is in pain constantly ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ but I’m thankful to do life together and to be able to bring him up. Todd brings so much joy to my life and everyone around us, and I can’t wait to watch him be an amazing father to our son.”
Awwww, so heartwarming!
