The will of Philip Seymour Hoffman is revealing just how important it was to the late actor that his kids NOT be raised in EL Lay!
Written in 2004, back when Philip’s son Cooper was his only child, one of his final wishes was that his child be raised in Manhattan, in order to be surrounded by the culture, arts, and architecture that only New York can provide.
If NYC proved to be impossible however, the document also states that growing up in Chicago or San Francisco would also be suitable.
And even if he couldn’t live in these cities, Hoffman wanted his son to visit them at least TWICE a year!
Oddly enough, the City of Angels is not mentioned in the will, despite Philip being a famous movie star who spent a great deal of time in in La La Land!
Clearly El Lay was NOT a place he saw fit to raise a child!
As for who he left his entire estate to, it all went to his long-time girlfriend, Mimi O’Donnell. The two split just months before his apparent heroin overdose.
