Piers Morgan Pens Essay On Kanye West's 'Fame Addiction' & How The Limelight Caused His Recent Episodes

Wait, Piers Morgan has something to say about the Kardashians? We’re shocked!
On Tuesday, Piers penned another essay analyzing and critiquing a member of the Kardashian clan. Unfortunately for Kanye West, this time it was his turn to be subjected to Morgan’s scrupulous inspection.

In the long opinion piece for the Daily Mail, the outspoken Brit blames West’s “fame addiction” for his mental break on Monday afternoon. The essay essentially blames the rapper’s “celebrity junkie” ways for exhausting him to the point of reported insanity.
The 51-year-old went on to write:

“… he’s suffering from a far more dangerous health hazard: fame addiction. Not content with being one of the world’s most famous entertainers, he set out to seduce and marry Kim Kardashian, thus deliberately implanting himself right into the heart of a 24/7 reality television goldfish bowl. There’s no escape from such a fatuous, fickle world. It’s an unstoppable, deeply cynical beast that needs constant feeding. There can never be enough drama, attention-seeking antics, showing off, bling-blasting, and transparently fake ├óΓé¼╦£look at my perfect universe’ bullsh*t.'”

Well, we can’t deny the Kardashian/Jenner/West families are full of drama. We imagine that could get overwhelming!
Elaborating on the “cynical beast of fame,” Piers warned:

“Eventually, nothing appears real any more. People stop taking you seriously. As public interest inevitably wanes, so the fame addict’s desperation to titillate the public grows ever more desperate. Kanye’s stupendous ego wrote a cheque so large this week that even his ├óΓé¼╦£perfect’ body and talent couldn’t cash it. He became a parody of himself and hit the wall that every fame addict hits in the end: a wall of harsh reality. In his case, one that left him hyperventilating in handcuffs in a hospital room.”

Damn, Mr. Morgan really paints a dark picture here! The TV guy’s analysis does seem to line up with the entertainer’s recent antics and rants.
As for the dad’s parting message, his final words were brief and to the point:

“It’s time to get some sleep, and get real.”

Well, there ya go.
So, do YOU agree with the critic’s essay?
