Poor Monkee: Diagnosed With Cancer

Former Monkee Peter Tork has revealed that he’s been diagnosed and treated for a rare case of head/neck cancer.
On Wednesday, he underwent surgery and will go on to do some form of radiotherapy.
He said on his website that his rare cancer was initially discovered on his tongue and that “that there isn’t a lot of experience among the medical community” for treating it.
But, he went on to say, “the prognosis, I’m told, is good.”
