Prince Albert is finally firing back at the media after infidelity and runaway bride rumors swirled just days (and hours) before his his wedding to Princess Charlene.
Coming back from their honeymoon, the royal couple had a small press conference addressing the rumors:
“We want to express our outrage about these rumors. It’s unbearable.
What is regrettable is that the media seized on these rumors without verifying their information. I find it unworthy of your colleagues. I have always respected the freedom of expression. But the dissemination of false information is lamentable and subject to criminal penalties.”
When asked why the media latched on to the rumors, the Prince replied, “There are people in Monaco who seek to harm us.”
So glad they’re finally speaking out about this. It was such an odd story, we just had to know the real story!
Glad the rumors were false. We hope they have a happy life together as a married couple.
