Prince William Reportedly 'Worried' About Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Being 'In A Fragile Place'

Prince William is concerned for his little brother!

Following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s interviews with ITV for the newly aired documentary, Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, the 37-year-old is reportedly “worried” for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

A Kensington Palace source shared with BBC following Sunday’s premiere that the father-of-three is “worried” for his brother and sister-in-law, noting the couple is “in a fragile place.”

Totally understandable! Both Meg and Harry were super vulnerable in everything they shared!

Though the special largely covered the couple’s recent South Africa tour, as well as Meg’s difficult adjustment to life in the royal spotlight, host Tom Bradby brought up the recent speculation of a strained relationship between Prince Charles‘ sons over the past year, telling cameras:

“It has been a year of big change, with all the complications that brings. This includes the decision to split his office off from that of his brother, to whom he has always been close.”

The 35-year-old replied diplomatically, though confirmed there has been added strain on the relationship with his big bro:

“Part of this role and part of this job and this family being under the pressure that it’s under inevitably, you know, stuff happens. But look, we’re brothers. We’ll always be brothers. We’re certainly on different paths at the moment but I will always be there for him and as I know he’ll always be there for me.”

Now that Meghan and baby Archie Harrison have entered the picture, on top of all the other changes they’ve made over the past year, it’s understandable the brothers don’t see each other as frequently as they had previously. Regardless, he explained they have a bond which can never be broken:

“You know, we don’t see each other as much as we, as much as we used to because we’re so busy. But, I love him dearly and, you know, the majority of the stuff is created out of nothing. Just as I said, as brothers, you know, you have good days, you have bad days.”

Things haven’t been easy for Meg, either! The 38-year-old revealed some of the struggles she’s attempted to deal with internally, but have been made public:

“Any woman, especially when they’re pregnant, you’re really vulnerable, and so that was made really challenging. And then when you have a newborn, you know. And especially as a woman, it’s a lot. So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed. It’s um … yeah. I guess, also thank you for asking because not many people have asked if I’m okay, but it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.”
