Did they really fake a pregnancy announcement for clicks??
On Monday we shared with you the news Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley were apparently having another baby.
Because that’s the obvious next step after accusations of dog murder…

And why not share? The couple advertised it with big announcements on their social media!
Though… not so much anymore…
While they aren’t screaming from the rooftops, “Hey we purposely misled our fans to get views on social media,” they *have* since retrofitted their original posts.

BUT that isn’t what she posted previously. And it wasn’t just saying “baby bump pics” either. Her caption was this:
She called it a “baby bump debut” — did she really not know what she was saying?
And Ronnie’s post now says:

But his original post was:
Notice they both used to have a #LinkInBio listed.
That link, which as of this writing is still in her bio but removed from his, is to an article which also described the baby bump pics as a “debut” and “exclusive new photos.”
They were really stretching the definition of “new” there — as neither the couple nor the outlet in any way made clear these were pics from the previous pregnancy.
So was this an accident as Jen implies?
No one says they’re “debuting” a baby bump when they dig up old photos.
Did they really not get how that was going to be received? They obviously understand now, hence the changes. (They also removed the comments from those two posts to further sweep the understandably confused reactions of fans under the rug.)
What do YOU think? Did they intentionally mislead followers for publicity? Or was it all a big misunderstanding??
