Idris Elba is killing it so far at the 2016 SAG Awards!
The actor took home TWO awards for his roles in Beasts of No Nation and Luther!
But when he got out on stage for a third time to introduce the Beasts of No Nation‘s ensemble nomination — he decided to throw some subtle, yet classy shade at the Oscars!
Right after Viola Davis won the trophy for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series, Elba went on stage with his costar Abraham Attah and called out the Academy’s all-white acting nominees! He said:
“Ladies and gentleman, welcome to diverse TV.”
AH-Mazing!
After getting majorly snubbed for Best Supporting Actor with the Oscar nominees this year, we don’t think there’s anyone better to make that dig!
