Sandra Bullock is not afraid to talk about the tough issues with her son!
In a recent interview, the Oscar winner revealed she’s already discussed racism with her 5-year-old son Louis. Whoa!
She shared:
“He fully understands what that means. He doesn’t understand why people judge each other based on color of their skin, but he knows they do. He also knows there’s sexism, he knows that there’s homophobia.”
We’re VERY impressed with the brunette beauty’s candor with her tiny tyke!

In case you forgot, Sandra adopted her son from New Orleans back in 2010 as she was getting divorced from Jesse James. Though Sandy’s ex had initially intended to adopt the little guy with the Blind Side actress, she decided to move forward with the adoption as a single parent when it was revealed that the TV personality had cheated on her!
She continued:
“I think if you don’t start the conversation early on, you’re doing them a disservice. Once he leaves that house and I’m not with him, it’s his life and how he approaches it is his decision. But I want to know that I did the best I could as his mom to educate him on the ugliness in the world, and also the beauty.”
Well said! We think Sandra’s totally SLAYING this single parent thing.
Though, we’re curious what the 51-year-old’s new boyfriend Bryan Randall thinks about Miz Bullock’s candid talks with her son?? Since they’re still a relatively new couple, he probably just keeps his parenting opinions to himself. LOLz!
With such a great role model as a mom, we’re excited to see the kind of young man Louis will eventually grow into. We guess only time will tell!
