Shane Dawson Wants You To Know He DIDN'T F**k His Cat -- Read His Apology!

Shane Dawson is making it clear that he and his cat are JUST FRIENDS and nothing more.
The 30-year-old YouTube megastar issued an apology for the controversial story he told in 2015 in which he claimed to have his first sexual experience with his cat.
In a resurfaced clip from an interview on his old podcast, Dawson said:

“One time I laid my cat down on her back… I moved her little chicken legs spread open or whatever.”

After describing humping the cat’s stomach, the YouTuber claimed:

“I came all over the cat. It was like my first sexual experience. I was also like 19.”

Ew… WTF??

The remarks recently resurfaced online and sparked outrage among Dawson’s fanbase, prompting him to explain that the story was apparently just a work of sick, disturbing fiction.
He wrote on Twitter over the weekend:

“I didn’t f**k my cat. i didnt cum on my cat. i didnt put my d**k anywhere near my cat. Ive never done anything weird with my cats…Ive apologized many times for all the dumb s**t ive said in videos and podcasts over the years. ive learned my lesson over and over again and im more confident now in my ability to be entertaining by just being myself and not being so shocking for laughs.” 

Revealing that the story was based on a “dumb awful sketch idea” he had years ago that (thankfully) never came to fruition, Dawson admitted that, in the moment, he thought it would be funny to tell it like it was a real story.
Now under a 2019 lens, he realizes the entire idea was “DISGUSTING and VERY VERY dumb.” He continued:

“That story was fake and was based on a dumb awful sketch idea I had years ago that i never made (THANK GOD) and when the opportunity came up for a funny moment in the podcast I told it as if it was a real story which was DISGUSTING and VERY VERY DUMB.”

The vlogger has been making a habit of apologizing for his vintage, “offensive” content as of late. Last year, he apologized for comments he made on his podcast in 2013 in which he called a 6-year-old girl “sexy.”
In that since-deleted clip, the social media personality said he Googled “naked babies” to “pretend like [he is] a pedophile” — something that he later claimed was just a joke and never actually happened.

In his Twit-pology over the weekend, Dawson said he’s still haunted by his earlier “comedy” and, going forward, will make a point to produce content that does not creep everyone the f**k out.
He continued:

“So im sorry for what i said about my cat, im sorry for what i said about anything or anyone that was offensive, and im sorry for being someone who thought being super offensive and shocking all the time was funny. im sorry for my past. but im really to make it right and i feel like without my past i wouldnt be who I am today and i wouldnt be able to grow & spend my energy on things that actually mean something. this has been the best 2 years of my life & its because ive been able to drop the act & be myself. and im sorry for not doing it sooner.”

Now, Dawson is tackling bigger issues: like getting to the bottom of the great Chuck E. Cheese #Pizzagate conspiracy.
It’s a much better brand than “feline sex offender for the lawlz,” if you ask us.
