Shannen Doherty isn’t fighting her breast cancer alone!
On Wednesday, the Charmed alum took to Instagram to give her fans another update about her cancer battle. Alongside a black and white image (above), the Beverly Hills, 90210 vet introduced her followers to the radiation machine she’s been using amid her medical treatments. Oh, and the piece of technology’s name is Maggie.

“This is Maggie. I’ve seen Maggie five days a week for what seems like forever. We have a love hate relationship. I love her because she’s part of the life saving treatment I’m receiving. It’s astounding how far we have come with technology. One day, Maggie will be retired and the cure will be found. “
Talk about being an inspiration. And despite being grateful to Maggie for all she’s done, Shannen is eager to finish her radiation treatment as she concluded:
“Things like immunotherapy are the future but for now…. it’s me and Maggie. I’m seeing her twice tomorrow so that I can wrap this phase up faster. Goodnight sweet Maggie. See ya tomorrow. #cancerslayer”
This isn’t the first time Doherty’s given fans a peek into her life with cancer. In fact, earlier in the day, the 45-year-old discussed the importance of moving your body — even if you’re exhausted from radiation.
We’ve said it once before, Shannen NEEDS to be writing a self help book. We can’t be the only ones thinking this, right?
