#Kleanse Spotlight: This Incredible Woman Turned Her House Into A Sanctuary For Elderly Cats And Dogs!

Animal lovers might just want to get the tissues out for today’s #Kleanse Spotlight!
Sher Polvinale, a Gaithersburg, Maryland resident, is doing something a lot won’t: opening her home to elderly and special needs dogs and cats.
It was back in 2006 when she founded the House With A Heart pet sanctuary with her late husband solely for the purpose of giving these animals a loving home for the rest of their lives.

With approximately 55 volunteers helping out each day to care for the residents and maintain the house and two-acre property, it’s still going strong!
Sher even says:

“I am grateful for every day with each of them. If they are waking me up at night that means they are still with us and I rejoice in that.”

Each day must be so special, especially knowing how much she is doing for these pets in their last days.
We believe every dog and cat deserves a loving home, and with Sher’s care, we know these beautiful, older animals in her care are getting just that.
And for those special residents who have passed on, you can find a framed picture of them on the “Stairway to Heaven”.
Cue all the tears!!
