Sheryl Crow Forgets The Lyrics To Soak Up The Sun

But handles it like a pro and even makes her audience laugh along with her over the goof!
While performing in St. Petersburg, Florida this past Saturday night, Sheryl Crow forgot the lyrics to one of her biggest hits! In the middle of a verse to Soak Up The Sun, she suddenly forgets what she is singing, then asks the audience, “Oh, what’s the words?”
This could have potentially been really awkward for any other artist, but Sheryl took it in stride. In fact, she actually took to the opportunity to prove she doesn’t lip sync. “It’s live! Nothin’ on tape here,” she continued.
Once she gets to the chorus she even jokes about her age and blurts out, “I’m fifty, what can I say? My brain has gone to sh*t!”
