Smash Dips In The Ratings, The Voice Still Holding Strong

Please. PLEASE. Don’t let Smash be the next Studio 60.
We don’t know where all of you were last night, but we were watching the second episode of Smash on NBC. And let us just tell you — it was GOOD! Bold moves were made, surprising twists, and Anjelica Huston threw a drink in someone’s face. Di-va!
But alas, the turn out wasn’t as stellar for the second episode as the episode itself. Dropping down 29 and 25 percent from last week’s debut, the show drew in 8.1 million total viewers while scoring a 2.8 rating among the coveted 18-49 crowd.
The same couldn’t be said of the show’s lead in The Voice, however, which grabbed 16.1 million while doing a 5.9, dipping only slightly from the week before.
Not bad, not bad. Bet it helped to have someone make a guest appearance on the show! HA! 😉
