It’s official!

Speed Racer has bombed!

The film took in an extremely disappointing $6.6 million on Friday.

It is expected to take in an embarrassing $23-24 million for the weekend.

Earlier this week, Warner Bros. was expected its film to make in the 30s. Last week, the number was in the 40s. Unfortunately, it’s gonna debut in the low 20s.

Iron Man, on the other hand, opened to about $100 million last weekend and it’s expected to remain #1 this weekend.

Good reviews probably helped that film and the shiteous ones probably hurt Speed Racer.

Warner Bros. spent close to $200 mill to make Speed Racer. They better make a ton of cash internationally, or else some heads will roll!
