Sylvester Stallone has at least one valuable reminder why it is his duty to remain strong for his family amid their recent tragedies.
The reason for his duty?
His daughter Scarlett.
The little girl, the gigantic father, and the rest of their family appeared at the premiere of The Expendables 2, a film Stallone has relentlessly promoted despite the loss of his son only a few short weeks ago.
We applaud the actor’s persistence to succeed, and not crawl into bed which surely most other mortals would have done.
We guess we shouldn’t be surprised, though. This has always been Sly’s character in films. The stereotypical tough guy who is determined to overcome all obstacles.
Then again, this is no movie. We’re sure this has been much harder on him than all of the Rambo movies put together.
Still, we admire the man for his courage.
But when we see him and Scarlett together – we realize how Sly is able to do it. How he is able to continue and stay such a tough guy.
It is his daughter. She provides him the courage to keep trekking. She IS his inspiration.
