Teri Hatcher Isn’t Desperate For A Job Anymore

That was fast!
Desperate Housewives finished shooting its final episode just last week, and Teri Hatcher has already landed a new gig.
The actress has signed up for a recurring role on ABC Family’s Jane By Design. Teri will be playing Jane’s momma, as well as step behind the lens to direct an episode!
Hatcher is SUPER excited about her directorial debut. In a statement she gushed:

“I├óΓé¼Γäóm thrilled for the opportunity to direct. So many of the crew and cast of Desperate Housewives have been encouraging me to do this for a long time, from Vanessa Williams, James Denton, to the talented camera crew department and producers. Now that I have time, I├óΓé¼Γäóm excited to whole heartedly conquer new ventures.├óΓé¼┬¥

After spending foreeeever on the same show, it’s gonna be really nice to “conquer” something totally new.
Teri’s four-episode story arc will start this summer.
