The Vampire Diaries straight up shocked last week when they killed off Stefan (Paul Wesley) despite him being one of the central characters.
But apparently no one is safe as TVD has done it AGAIN!! AND TWICE OVER!
MAJOR SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!
Last night on the season finale, the show ended with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) DYING!
REPEAT: THE HOTTEST VAMPIRE WITH THE DEEPEST, BLUEST EYES IN ALL THE LAND IS DEAD. LIKE, WHITE LIGHT DEAD.
You see, in an attempt to bring back Stefan from his demise the week before, the group decided to kill off all the Travelers to open the portal through Bonnie to let people travel through her from the Other Side. In order to do this, Damon and Elena sacrificed themselves on a suicide mission, driving their car into the Mystic Grill (which was filling up with gas) to make it go KA-BOOM.
All seemed to be okay, perhaps even better than okay, as one by one, people started to cross over back to life from the beyond – Tyler, Luke, Enzo… and Alaric! Yes, everyone’s favorite drunk History teacher is back!! (And in fact, they released a statement following the episode that he would be back as a series regular! Awesome!)
But then, no one could find poor Damon! Stefan and Elena waited and waited, but Bonnie, feeling that there wasn’t much time left, reached out to Elena to help her cross over. In doing that, she slumped over in pain, causing Stefan to reach out to her — and catch the very last ride back to life.
In the final moments, which were like the most devastating of all time, Damon and Bonnie say goodbye to the ones they love the most, take each other by the hand… and TRAVEL INTO A WHITE LIGHT?! ARE YOU KIDDING US WITH THIS???
DEAD. You hear that??? The hottie mchottie of all hotties has been killed from the show.
We’re not sure what to even do with this news. We mean, they have to bring him back to life, right??
The show will be NOTHING without his delish bod.
How will all the loyal viewers survive until next season?
All we can say now is congrats, TVD, you’ve just served up the most insane season finale ever.
CUE ALL THE UGLY CRYING….
