Well that seems to be the case when it comes to Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston‘s recent split. As we previously reported, the Blank Space singer reportedly dumped the Thor villain as the twosome were supposedly at odds over how public their relationship should be. Sigh!
However, an insider close to the 35-year-old has since revealed that it was the Crimson Peak actor who broke things off with Tay Tay as he “grew tired of her.” Ummm, rude!

Reportedly, the British hottie is fickle when it comes to love and regularly dumps girlfriends within a matter of months. In fact, Tom’s peer claims the A-lister follows a “three month rule.” Huh, the duo DID breakup on the three month mark.
Not to mention the source, who is a theatre producer Hiddleston previously worked with, explained to Heat Street:
“The reports are wide of the mark and come as news to all Tom’s friends. He grew tired of Taylor, it wasn’t the other way round.”
Hmm, go on! The confidant continued:
“Tom drifted from her and it had nothing to do with her being put off by the publicity. It’s more to do with the fact he’s a commitment-phobe who gets bored very easily.”
Eek! While the end of HiddleSwift shocked fans, it appears the Marvel action star’s sisters could’ve predicted the split as the insider noted:
“Even his sisters affectionately chide him on his lack of relationship staying power.”
We doubt Taylor’s camp is going to appreciate this truth bomb hitting the press. Regardless, the blonde beauty’s been all smiles since becoming single again — whereas Tom’s been spotted looking glum in Australia. So, who knows what actually went down between these two!
