Uma Thurman Gets Parasitic Wasp Named After Her Kill Bill Character

Have you seen Kill Bill??
Remember those kick-ass fight scenes where Uma Thurman is just destroying everyone while wearing that seksi yellow jumpsuit??
Well due to her deadliness and her yellowness, her character, Beatrix Kiddo, has gotten a parasitic wasp named after her!
It’s pretty appropriate because the wasp is yellow and it is deadly!
The new species of parasitic wasp, Cystomastacoides kiddo, lays its eggs inside of another insect.
That means that when the babies are born, they eat their way out for their first meal.
That’s terrifying! Like Alien scary!
Don’t worry, the wasps pretty much only use insects, and usually one type of insect is preferred.
Some love lady bugs as hosts, others choose cockroaches.
None choose humans… as far as we know…
