What a heartbreaking message.
On Thursday, Vin Diesel took to Instagram to share a sad anecdote about the late Paul Walker and his son Vincent.
The painful recollection comes on the heels of drama with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on the set of Fast 8. Mr. Johnson publicly shaded Vin earlier this week, which set off a firestorm of rumors and taking sides.

Despite all the pettiness of late, the actor took a much needed moment to reflect on Paul and the depth of their friendship. Even though Paul lost his life almost three years ago, he’s just as torn up about the loss as when it first happened.
According to Vin, he was forced to face the tragedy once again when his son asked if Walker could come to his 6th birthday party. Apparently the little boy put a visit from P.W. at the top of his b-day wish list.

Wow. We really need a few tissues after watching Mr. Diesel pour his feelings out.
Here’s to hoping Vin and the rest of the Fast 8 cast can overcome all their fighting to focus on what’s really important — honoring Paul.
