Without Winona? It's Official! Heathers To Live Again

It may not be the sequel that Winona Ryder had hoped for, but maybe they could get her to play someone’s mom in the adapted TV version in the works over at Fox and Sony TV.

The cult classic mean girls movie, Heathers, is making its move to the small screen, with the help of Sex and the City alum Jenny Bicks. It is said to be a modernized version of the original story and fans of the movie might be pleased (or angered) to know that the original characters are all expected to be scripted into the adaptation.

We actually kind of like this idea. A sequel could come off cheesy, but an elongated, modernized storyline may breathe new life into the Heathers mania.
