Wrestler Billy Jack Haynes Is Suing The WWE After He Contracted Hepatitis C!

no title
Well, this is a complicated and upsetting story.
Billy Jack Haynes, who wrestled with the WWE from 1986-1988, is suing the organization for a whopping 5 million dollars because he claims to have contracted Hepatitis C during a particularly bloody match.

Billy is alleging that Vince McMahon’s company put wrestlers in danger by hiding important medical information and encouraging steroid and cocaine use.
What’s even crazier is that Billy isn’t the only one suing the WWE — according to legal docs, he has a bunch of former wrestlers who’ve also joined the suit.
The WWE brushed off the claims in the following statement:

“WWE was well ahead of sports organizations in implementing concussion management procedures and policies as a precautionary measure as the science and research on this issue emerged.”

Basically, the WWE is saying Heptatitis wasn’t a well-known disease during the time of Billy’s tenure, therefore they’re not culpable for any diseases he may have contracted during his wrestling days.
So, do U think Billy’s suit is warranted or he has no case?
