Truly a chilling story…
According to IBTimes (citing local newspaper El Debate de Culiacan), 17-year-old Mexican YouTube star Juan Luis Lagunas Rosales (pictured above) was gunned down in a bar on Monday, December 18.
Allegedly, 15 shots were fired inside Mentados Cantaros in Tlajomulco, also injuring the bar manager. It’s been reported Rosales had to be identified by his tattoos.

Witnesses say the attack was carried out by five people traveling in a black truck. However, a report from El Diario says four, not five, people were responsible for the shooting.
Though not confirmed by police, according to El Pais many believe Rosales was gunned down because of a recent video he posted where he tells drug lord Nemesio Ocegera Cervantes (a.k.a. “El Mencho”), “El Mencho a m├â┬¡ me pela la verga” which translates roughly to “El Mencho, peel my cock.”

The late Rosales — also known as “El Pirata de Culiac├â┬ín” — has around 270,000 followers on Instagram, 33,000 on Twitter, and over 1,000,000 on Facebook.
El Mencho — who has allegedly worked with El Chapo — is one of Mexico’s most wanted and dangerous men.
