first of all i'm glad Perez and co. post up new music for us to hear. the best part about this video is the astronomy. the song is edgy and harmonically unique but that doesn't necessarily make it effective. the lyrics are refreshing though and i think Bono gives a good vocal performance. the main guitar riff is cool but just doesn't hit me like the amazing one from 'Vertigo'. when i write music, if a new track isn't as good as the best track i've ever written (in my opinion of course lol), i don't consider it finished. and aren't men lucky? imagine if this was four women of the same age…
overall an original arrangement that doesn't quite go the distance. 7/10

I love this song and video. U2 is most excellent band ever and outrageously outstanding in concert. I highly recommend everyone see them once sometime during your lifetime. You will not be disappointed.

Yep Pretty much lifted the chorus from the Escape Clubs - wild wild west - cool video though - and yes - it's not THAT good - expected MUCH better from them

I love it, but the verses are the same melody as "Fruit at the Bottom" by the fantastic Wendy & Lisa. They should get props. Just like when the Rolling Stones did "Constant Crazing" by k.d. Lang in their song "Anybody Seen My Baby" from a few years back.

I think this song probably might be much more deeper and more meaningsful than you think at first listen. The video seems to talk about war and stuff, but it contradicts itself when Bono sings the line "you don't know how beautiful you are". It's hard to know if it's a anti-war song or a tribute to women. But the video was pretty cool, but I'm waiting for a better, fiercer U2 song, like they used to make them. U2 still rules!
I totally get it. It's a song about empowering women. The message is for women to recognize how beautiful they are, the power they have and they need to get ON IT. This is my song for 2009 because I am ON MINE this year! I love Bono. I would love to turn him out.
It's sad when the video is 100% better then the song. I'm a huge U2 fan and been since the mullet days but this song is shit. These guys may need to call it a day and stop releasing less then stellar songs just because they feel pressured to stay in the game. They should quit while they are ahead.
