Melissa Etheridge‘s wife, actress Tammy Lynne Michaels, has taken to her blog to speak out for the first time ever about the years of abuse she suffered as a child.

It’s a very moving account.

Hopefully Tammy’s words can lend comfort to other victims and encourage them to speak out.
