With fans like his, who needs loans?!
While 50 said he's simply taking precautions as a businessman, his filing scared his fans so badly, that they actually set up a Tumblr page to raise money for their idol.
Help50Cent is a charity that gives the rapper a small donation for every play his classic song Piggy Bank receives on Spotify.
Unfortunately, plays on the streaming site only give the artist .0011 cents per play, but as of this posting, fans have raised a staggering $4.3813 for 50.
50 Cent Dishes On His Bankruptcy & Lets Everyone Know He's Still Got Money! See How Much He's Still Worth!
Good! We were starting to get worried there for a moment! LOLz!
The In The Club rapper talked a bit about his experiences and finances while doing the junkets for his upcoming film, Southpaw, which he stars opposite Jake Gyllenhaal.
On the topic of the rapper filing of bankruptcy, Jackson said:
On Monday, it was reported that 50 Cent filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy according to documents filed at Connecticut Bankruptcy Court.
It's said that the paperwork was filed under the rapper's real name – Curtis James Jackson III — for assets and debts each between $10 million and $50 million. Yikes!
This development comes only a few days after a jury ruled that Disco Inferno performer would have to shell out $5 million to Lavonia Leviston over a sex tape that was posted without her permission.
The entrepreneur was known as one of hip hop's wealthiest rappers after Coca-Cola bought one of his investments, Vitamin Water, and received somewhere between $60 million and $100 million. Wow!
To make matters worse, the producer recently lost a court case where a jury ruled that he'd have to pay $17.2 million after ripping off a headphones design.
Oh how the mighty have fallen. Especially since Forbes recently estimated Curtis' net worth at $155 million. Whoa.
However, the mogul doesn't seem to be in low spirits. He took to Instagram yesterday to share a pic (below) that made it seem like he was partying like it was his birthday. HA!
Not so funny now, is it Fiddy?
The original video was between Lastonia and a man named Maurice Murray. But, in 2010, he handed it off to the rapper, who edited himself into the filthy flick donning a wacky wig and a robe.
And THEN he posted it all over the internet.
The unlucky lady was totally not happy, and sued 50 for damages and emotional distress. While the musician insisted stunt was only to take some low blows at Rick, it seems the jury has sided with the 36-year-old.
After an hour of deliberating, they awarded Lastonia $2.5 million because her image was used without her consent, and then $2.5 million MORE because of the emotional trauma the whole debacle caused.
This means Fiddy has to shell out a whopping $5 million for his invasive jab at his rival. And after it's all said and done, he could be paying even more than that, since he skipped out on showing up for the trial AND the verdict.

Sadly, that never happened.
But she's scored several international Vogue covers since then, with the latest being this August issue of Vogue Australia.
The designer is sexy and unsmiling in the shot, and looks rather regal in a black-and-white print Louis Vuitton dress.
Those are some nice puff sleeves, wouldn't you agree?
We do have to admit that this isn't the best facial expression Posh Spice has ever had, but there are two pics in the spread that make up for it!
Check 'em out in the gallery (above)!
