Last week, we mentioned that Bridget Jones 3 was pretty much a done deal. The production company behind the first two movies were on board and the flick already has a director in negotiations. However, the studio is still waiting on word from it's star, Renee Zellweger, on whether or not she is prepared to gain 30 pounds again for her iconic role.

The real question is, will people like it? Let's find out!

It has been CONFIRMED that a third Bridget Jones flick is in the works and close to getting into production. Working Title Films, the company behind the last two movies, is ready to forge ahead with the project, which must mean all the actors are in place and the script is up to their liking.

But just to refresh everyone's memory about the storyline, Colin Firth spilled some details awhile back that might not be to everyone's liking. Colin spilled:

Renee Zellweger and John Stamos were seen together at Disneyland on Monday!

Sources say they were having a "great time" while "laughing and dancing" together.

Uncle Jesse fans were super excited, running up to take pictures.

BUT GET THIS! Most of them didn't even recognize Renee, asking HER to take their pictures with Stamos.

Ouch!

So, okay, while we're happy if they're happy, we have to admit this seems pretty random.

Oh man! This is GREAT news!

A third Bridget Jones film has been in the works for quite some time, but it finally appears as though the project has snagged a director - and a HIGHlarious one, at that!

Bridesmaids' Paul Feig is reportedly in deep negotiations to helm the flick, and is said to be "beyond keen" to shoot in Londontown!

Amazing! We think he could bring some much-needed HIGHlarity to this, given the laughs he was able to generate in his last project!

We just hope that Renée, Hugh, and Colin all come back - especially since the last one left, despite being cute, left a bit to be desired!

We reported a month back that Renee Zellweger was said to be spending some time with none other than John Mayer, and according to In Touch, the two are still seeing each other, and were spotted at NYC's Bowery Hotel looking "romantic!"

The source explains:

"She's actually having a good time…She's ready for some fun."

Yeah - because being the latest in a line of messed up relationships that ended with him exploiting their privacy sounds so much fun!

Could this be true?

According to The Globe, Renee Zellweger is dating Jennifer Aniston’s ex, John Mayer.

Zellweger seems to have a thing for Jen’s leftovers as she also dated Bradley Cooper.

Sources close to Renee reveal the two have been “quietly” going on dates in Los Angeles and New York.

Renee and Mayer are said not to be in a relationship, with an insider adding, “She's looking for a good time with a hot guy."

We'll just have to wait to see if this works out.

Guess they're back on! Or maybe they were never off?

Despite hotelier Andre Balazs recently being spotted cozying up to Renée Zellweger, sources close to him are reporting that he and Chelsea Handler are still seeing each other, and they even went to the White House Correspondents Dinner together over the weekend!

And apparently, the funnylady is so into him that she thinks she may be ready to settle down!

Chelsea Lately writer Heather McDonald reveals:

"He's a babe. He's very successful…[H]e's very nice. I think she's met her match…He doesn't put up with [her], but in a fun way, which she loves. Chelsea likes when you don't put up with her too much."

Wowza! Sounds like it's getting serious!
