Everything about this is… ok, just as weird as you'd expect!
This morning, Willow Smith released a surprise album called Ardipthecus, available across the United States on iTunes.
The album release comes out of nowhere, and it appears to be predominantly a solo gig: Willow is listed as the only songwriter on 14 of the 15 tracks, and she was the solo producer on ten of them.
The lead single (audio track above!) is called F Q-C #8 (because of course it is)…
But if you think that's bizarre, well, ch-ch-check out what Willow had to say about it (below):
Move over, Kanye West!
It looks like another A-list celebrity is innerested in entering politics in the near future. In an interview for the Hollywood Reporter's podcast titled Awards Chatter, Will Smith revealed he has thought about perhaps throwing himself into the politics game.
The 47-year-old shared:
"As I look at the political landscape, I think that there might be a future out there for me. They might need me out there."
Well that's confident. Still, we have a feeling the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum would have a better chance at becoming president over Yeezus. Sorry, Kim Kardashian West!
Though, we shouldn't be too shocked by the Oscar nominee's admission as he's been dedicated to making a positive difference through his art — so running for office could be the obvious next step.
Jaden Smith doesn't care what you think.
When asked about what's the most significant thing he's ever done, the young actor said:
"Being born was the most influential thing that's ever happened to me, for myself. As far as people, what they think is influential—like I said, the thing that you can make the most fun of and laugh at the most is whatever would be the most influential to the pop culture of the world.
When they don't understand something, they're afraid of it, and if they don't understand it, they don't accept it or like it. There's been so many things we don't understand like Galileo saying the Earth is not the center of the universe, it's actually the sun that we revolve around. Everybody thought that he was crazy! People didn't understand the level of science that he was putting forth into society. You can't blame these people that don't understand."
We'd have to say we agree — being born was pretty awesome!!
Is there anything Willow Smith doesn't do?!
Will Smith's daughter is venturing into the world of modeling, and she just got signed to an agency! The Society Management announced on it's Instagram Tuesday that it will be representing the singer!
How exciting! Ch-ch-check out the post (below)!
On Friday, the Men in Black actor took to Facebook to share a sweet message about his wife on her 44th birthday.
Wait. How is the brunette beauty now 44-years-old?! She looks AH-Mazing!
Anywho, not only did the Gettin' Jiggy Wit It rapper share an adorable throwback snap, but he also once again shut down any rumors that he had eyes for anyone but his lady love.
Willow Smith has come a long way since whippin' her hair back and forth!
The 14-year-old has been dropping new music and videos showing just how much she's grown as an artist, and her latest music video for Why Don't You Cry might be her most mature yet!
In a video that she "dreamed up," Willow tackles big issues like alienation, coming to terms with one's emotions, and dealing with unsupportive parents!
Doesn't Willow know that sometimes paren't just don't understand??? Sorry, we just HAD to!!
Ch-ch-check out the video for Why Don't You Cry (below) and let us know what you think in the comments!
Willow Smith released a music video for her song Wit A Indigo over the weekend, and it's weird… like, really weird.
The trippy song comes from the music collective Dispora which is made up of Willow, Crystal Mec, and Tru. Wit A Indigo also features rapper Tyler Cole.
In the video — that's even more psychedelic than the song — the kids refer to themselves as Indigo children, a concept that came about in the ‘70s about kids that are special or possibly believed to possess special abilities.
Willow took to Twitter when the video dropped, saying:
